Shipping Information

How will my package be shipped?

Georgetown Valley Candy Company prefers to ships via FedEx Ground and FedEx home delivery. We do not require FedEx to collect a signature to receive your package, unless requested.  Consequently, a package may be left at the door of the addressee.

How long do deliveries take?

In most cases, delivery will take 2-4 business days.  Additional time maybe required to ship to remote areas.  In some cases, since GVCC manufactures its candy by hand, in small batches, extra time may be required to manufacture and package an order. 

Can I send a package to a PO Box?

If you would prefer your candies to be shipped to a PO Box, we will send you package via the USPS.  Shipping times and shipping quality will vary from Federal Express services.

How will my order be packaged?

In an effort to recycle as much cardboard as possible, it is our policy to package all non-gift parcels with previously used boxes and packaging as often as possible.  All gift packages will be shipped in clean boxes with unused packaging materials.

When should I use a “Cold Pack” shipping box?

It is strongly recommended to ship all chocolate items from the month of May through September, or during any time where the forecasted temperatures will exceed 85° F. 

It is not necessary to use a “Cold Pack” shipping box when shipping fudge, caramel, taffy or any candy that is not coated or composed of chocolate.

How can I track my order?

You will receive a confirmation of receipt once we receive your order.  Once your order is completed, and ready to ship, we will add your email address to an automatic FedEx distribution list.  For personal assistance regarding the progress of your package, please call us at (303) 569-2778 between the hours of 10am and 5pm MST.

Can I ship items to multiple addresses?

Yes

Is it possible to send gifts outside the United States of America?

Georgetown Valley Candy Company would gladly send our candy to any location.  However, before ordering, please check the customs restrictions of the destination.  Some candies will be seized by customs due to trade and agriculture restrictions.  For example, the UK has seized our Caramel Corn in the past due to agricultural restrictions on grains.   

Is it possible to send candy to an APO/FPO Address?

It is possible to send our candy to APO and FPO Addresses.  Normal custom restrictions apply; please, check the custom restrictions of the destination before ordering.
